Who We Are
About Free Aqlam Network for Human Rights
The idea of forming the Free Aqlam Network for Human Rights came about in its clear support for Sudanese communities in general and the victims in particular in defending all types of grave humanitarian violations to which they are exposed and supporting them in all basic rights that enhance their right to deal in the humanitarian environment through monitoring and documenting. And to advocate and stand with them before the courts to do justice to them in order to achieve justice in order to build social peace and inherit a culture of human rights to empower communities, especially women and youth, in defending basic rights and to intensify efforts to protect children.
The Free Aqlam Network for Human Rights has succeeded in monitoring and documenting the grave humanitarian violations committed by both sides of the conflict in Sudan against defenseless civilians, during our journey in promoting and supporting human rights.
What makes us different?
We find trust in our dealings with victims and vice versa. We have found great interaction with multiple national rights organizations and international organizations that have participated with us in raising capabilities and knowledge. We have the ability to interact as defenders, male and female, in understanding and trusting in dealing with each other and with the victims (stakeholders) of defenseless civilians in Sudan, in the effective role in defending human rights and supporting the efforts of communities in villages, rural areas, cities, and rural areas to address the roots of the accumulated conflicts that have arisen. Thousands of civilians were killed, in order to build a democratic civil state that respects human rights in Sudan.
